Amelia's Name Sign

I have been working on Amelia's name sign over a few weeks. I bought the paper mache letters from Lincraft. I used Stampin' Up dsp Raspberry Tart to decoupage them, then gave them a coat of glossy varnish before embellishing them with flowers, ribbon, buttons and butterflies. They look really cute sitting along her window sill. ....Bailey has been told not to touch them.... we'll see how that goes, I'm expecting to find them all jumbled up from little fingers moving them and not being able to spell yet!!! This may be my last completed project for a little while, as I'm now beginning to make a patch work quilt for Amelia's room. I should have it finished by the time she's two and moves into a bed! (She's only 3 months old now!!) Shall post some photos of it's progress from time to time.

Gary's 50th Card

This is a card and money holder I made for Peter's brother Gary's 50th birthday. I got to play with my new Stampin' Up Fox & Friends stamps and new papers. We also gave him some Darrel Lea chocolates, but I ran out of time to make a co-ordinating lolly bag for him. ..... I don't think he really cared... it's probably more of a girl thing!!

Mel and Chookie showed us how to create some gorgeous paper crafts on Wednesday night.
In this class we made some treat cup cards, lollipop holder, lolly bag and wine holder.
All papers, products and equipment are from the Stampin' Up range.
Thanks ladies for a wonderful night away from the dishes!!

Amelia's Card Album

This is an album I have created for Amelia to glue her birthday cards into. As a child my Mum made one for me and I looked at the collection of pretty cards all the time. This is just the front page I have scrapped. I will glue in all of the baby cards congratulating us on her birth behind it. Then I'll do another scrap page for her first birthday ready to glue in the cards she will receive then ..... and so on.

A Gift for Aunty Gloria

Mum was so happy with the cards I made for Lyn she asked me to make some more for Aunty Gloria's birthday. Once again I used Stampin' Up dsp in Raspberry Tart. I have placed an order with Mel for other dsp collections, however I really love the papers in Raspberry Tart collection and have a few other projects to complete with them yet.

A Gift for Lyn

I jumped at the opportunity to create a gift for Mum's friend's birthday. She loved the notecards I made at one of Mel's Craft Classes that I gave to her, and asked me to make her some for her friend. I made a set of 3"x3" little cards and covered a gift box to match using Stampin' Up dsp in Raspberry Tart.
